Chicken Kebab is a delightful dish featuring marinated pieces of chicken, skewered and grilled to perfection. Bursting with flavors, this dish is perfect for summer barbecues or a cozy family dinner. Paired with fresh vegetables and tangy sauces, Chicken Kebab will leave you wanting more!

 

Ingredients

  • 500 grams boneless chicken breast
  • 200 grams yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 cup bell peppers, cut into squares
  • 1 medium onion, cut into squares
  • as needed skewers

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, minced ginger, paprika, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Mix well to ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  4. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken pieces, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
  6. Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve warm with your favorite sauce or side.
