Ingredients
500 grams boneless chicken breast
200 grams yogurt
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin powder
to taste salt
to taste black pepper
1 cup bell peppers, cut into squares
1 medium onion, cut into squares
as needed skewers
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, minced ginger, paprika, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Mix well to ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Thread the marinated chicken pieces, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve warm with your favorite sauce or side.
