Ingredients

  • 2 cups yogurt
  • 1 medium (grated) cucumber
  • 2 cloves (minced) garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon (chopped) dill
  • 1 tablespoon (chopped) mint
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt with grated cucumber.
  2. Add minced garlic to the mixture and stir well.
  3. Incorporate olive oil, dill, and mint, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice according to your taste.
  5. Chill the cacik in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve cold as a dip or side dish, garnished with additional herbs if desired.
